1.  To facilitate the exchange of ideas and the establishment of collaborative scientific projects among groups in the network.
2.  To serve as a forum for discussion of methodological problems, facilitating exchange of information, protocols and reagents among the participants.
3.  To collaborate in the formation of young scientists working on their doctoral degrees or first postdoctoral positions in the field of cell adhesion and migration.
4. To organize two international meetings (in the second semester of the year 2007 and in 2008), which will be announced at its due time.
5.  To establish bonds and also to offer the collaboration, either as a network or between individual members, in projects or initiatives started by other scientific organizations related to the objectives of this network.
